Our Philosophy: ClonePartner
ClonePartner handles data migrations, custom integrations, and continuous data sync so engineering teams don't have to. Here's what we do, how we work, and why teams outsource this work to us.

The Need for a Great Migrations and Integrations Partner
During the course of building Truto, an integrations platform, we came across numerous use cases where engineering teams needed custom implementations—solutions that went beyond out-of-the-box APIs and pre-built workflows.
The pattern was consistent: a company switches from one system to another (say, moving from one Applicant Tracking System to a different ATS, or from one CRM to another), and suddenly the engineering team is buried in a months-long data migration project they didn't sign up for. Historical records need to be mapped between incompatible schemas. Custom fields don't line up. Attachments, notes, and activity logs need to come along. And the whole time, the business can't afford downtime or data loss.
There was an undeniable gap for a service team capable of handling these migrations, custom integrations, and continuous data syncs—so engineering teams could stay focused on their core product. ClonePartner emerged as an offshoot of Truto to address this specific need.
What We Actually Do
ClonePartner handles three categories of work:
- Data migrations — Moving historical data between platforms (ATS-to-ATS, CRM-to-CRM, HRIS-to-HRIS, and other system-to-system transfers). This includes schema mapping, field transformation, deduplication, validation, and migrating associated records like attachments, notes, and activity histories.
- Custom integrations — Building and maintaining integrations that go beyond what pre-built connectors offer. When an off-the-shelf iPaaS tool doesn't cover your use case, we write the integration.
- Continuous data sync — Keeping data flowing between systems on an ongoing basis, not just a one-time migration.
When we say "AI-first approach," we mean we use AI tooling to accelerate the repetitive parts of this work—schema analysis, field mapping suggestions, data transformation scripts—so we can move faster without sacrificing accuracy.
How We Work
Quick backstory: Roopendra, the CTO at ClonePartner, and I began our careers at Recruiterbox, an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) that was later acquired by Turn/River Capital. During our time at Recruiterbox, we worked directly with customers migrating onto and off of the platform. That experience taught us what matters most in migration and integration work: speed, clear communication, and zero surprises.
Our process follows a straightforward structure:
- Scoping — We map the source and target systems, identify all data objects in play, and flag complexity (custom fields, attachments, nested records, volume).
- Schema mapping and transformation rules — We define how every field in the source maps to the target, including transformations, defaults, and edge cases.
- Validation and dry run — We run the migration against a test environment, produce a validation report, and review discrepancies before touching production data.
- Execution — We run the migration (or deploy the integration) with monitoring in place.
- Post-migration verification — We verify record counts, spot-check data integrity, and confirm everything landed correctly.
ClonePartner is a lean team. That's deliberate. It means the people who scope your project are the same people who execute it. There's no handoff to a junior team, no telephone game. Our size lets us move fast and stay responsive without the overhead of a large consultancy.
Why Engineering Teams Outsource This Work
Migrations and integrations are essential but rarely core to a product team's mission. They consume engineering cycles, require deep knowledge of third-party APIs that won't be relevant again, and carry real risk if done sloppily—lost records, broken references, compliance gaps.
We exist so your engineering team doesn't have to context-switch into migration work for weeks or months. We've done it enough times that we know where the landmines are.
